
This is a lovely cornbread recipe made with boneless chicken breasts. To prepare this cornbread, you will need the following ingredients,
Ingredients:
1. Four halves of chicken breasts ( boneless and skinless ).
2. Half a cup of onions, chopped.
3. Half a teaspoon of black pepper, ground.
4. 12 teaspoons of margarine.
5. Six fresh eggs.
6. Two teaspoons of Mccormick poultry seasoning (any other brand will also do fine).
7. A packet (16 ounces) of betty crocker(preferably) corn bread mix.
8. A pinch of garlic powder.
9. A loaf of white bread, split into little pieces (bread should be a day old).
10. A can of Campbell's condensed chicken cream soup.
11. Half a cup of fresh parsley, diced.
Preparation:
1. Take a deep saucepan and put the boneless chicken breasts in it. Fill the saucepan with enough water so that the chicken pieces are well immersed. Heat the saucepan on a medium flame and let it boil. Cook the chicken for about 60 minutes or till it becomes soft and shreddable. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it well and keep it aside. Also, don't throw away the chicken broth as it will be needed later.
2. Make an 8x8 inch pan of cornbread as per the instructions on the packet and then take bowl and mix in the cornbread and white bread pieces together. Now preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
3. Now take the margarine, celery and chopped onions and mix them together in another saucepan and heat it under medium flame. Let it cook and keep stirring until the onions become soft.
4. Now take this mixture and add it into the bowl containing the cornbread and white bread mixture. Add in the boneless chicken breasts, mccormick's poultry seasoning, cream of chicken soup, four cups of chicken broth, garlic powder, six eggs and the ground pepper.
5. Now take a potato masher and mash the ingredients together until it reaches the concentration of gelatin. If needed, you can add some chicken broth to get the required consistency. Pour the entire mixture into a 9x13 inch oven safe baking dish.
6. Place the baking dish in the oven and let it bake for about half an hour or till it turns a golden brownish color.
